Undo brings those scattered tasks into one calm post-purchase protection timeline.

Undo is a privacy-first Chrome extension with a supporting web dashboard. On supported retailer order-confirmation pages, the buyer can intentionally save a purchase for protection. Undo records only the details needed to help with that purchase, such as the retailer, item, price, purchase date, and return deadline. It does not require blanket browsing-history access or inbox access.

## Return-window protection

The core experience is a clear countdown for every protected purchase. Instead of relying on memory or searching for an old receipt, users can see which items still have time left and which deadlines are approaching. This is especially helpful during holidays, home projects, and other periods when several orders are arriving at once.

## Price-drop monitoring

Undo checks protected items for lower prices and estimates the potential return-and-repurchase savings. The calculation is presented as an opportunity, not a guarantee. Users remain in control and can decide whether the savings justify the return process. Undo explains the relevant dates and estimated amount before the user takes action.

## Refund follow-up

Refunds are easy to lose track of after a return. Undo lets users record an expected refund and set a follow-up date. If the money has not arrived, the dashboard surfaces the open item and helps the user remember to contact the retailer. Undo does not move money or impersonate the buyer; it keeps the follow-up visible until the user confirms the result.

## Shareable savings cards

When a user confirms recovered savings, Undo can create a simple shareable card showing the amount protected or recovered. The card is designed to avoid exposing the retailer, item, receipt, or personal information. This gives users a satisfying way to celebrate money saved while keeping purchase details private.

## Privacy-first design

Trust matters for any browser tool that touches shopping data. Undo uses minimal Manifest V3 permissions and asks for retailer access only where the feature needs it. Authentication, billing, and protected-purchase data live in the supporting web service, while the extension remains a focused doorway into the workflow. The product avoids inbox scraping, financial-account access, silent checkout changes, and the sale of identifiable shopping history.

## Current MVP scope

The MVP focuses on intentional purchase capture from supported retailer confirmation pages, return-window tracking, price-drop opportunities, return-and-repurchase estimates, refund follow-ups, and shareable savings cards. It is not a coupon injector, autonomous return agent, or guarantee that a retailer will grant a price adjustment. Retailer policies and eligibility can vary, so Undo presents useful information and guided actions while leaving the final decision with the user.
