## How it works

The overlay runs locally on the player's Windows computer and attaches a lightweight interface to the game window. Players can configure which widgets appear and can hide or show the menu with a hotkey. Event countdowns are calculated from local UTC time and bundled cycle rules. Helltide target data ships with the client, so players should update the application when that data changes.
